LLWC is currently being credentialed with other major insurance carriers. Sliding scale sessions are offered through community partnerships based on availability and qualification of our internship program.

Life can be incredibly challenging, especially when we feel as though we did not have proper role models, it can feel like we are flying by the seat of our pants. By providing a nonjudgmental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, we will help you develop both insight and tools to more effectively navigate your life and validate your experiences.

As adolescents grow, they often experience a myriad of social, emotional, and mood-related challenges. We utilize a range of therapeutic approaches, to help the client learn basic tools to help cope and identify what their needs are.

Trauma Treatment

Traumas can be caused through a single incident, such as an accident, natural disaster, school shooting. Traumas can also be developmental, created over years of neglect and/or abuse. Trauma symptoms present on a wide spectrum, and can include eating and sleep issues, hyper-vigilance, disassociation, anxiety, depression, difficulties with concentration and isolation to name a few. Following a trauma, some individuals develop post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) characterized by changes to the brain which may cause defects to sleep, eating, mood and overall functioning.

We offer EMDR as a tool to re-process and mitigate symptoms post-event.

Couples Therapy

Couples go through many seasons of change. When we add more factors, such as raising children or a job change, this affects our closeness in our relationship. We believe that it’s never too late- or to early- to spend some time focusing on improving your relationship.

We offer a wide range of support to couples such as those seeking pre-marital work, infidelity/trust repair, family planning, communication issues, blending families, intercultural, codependency/substance use disorders.

Group Discussion

Family therapy is a space to learn one another and create new concepts and expectations on how to function. This can reduce conflict and distress and improve the quality of interactions among family members. We will help you identify the causes of conflict and will teach you new ways of coping in order to increase mutual respect and appreciation for one another.

Addiction Treatment

At LLWC we provide a safe and healthy environment for individuals suffering from a substance use disorder or addiction. The substance counseling treatment is geared toward stimulating a recovery growth path for adult clients (17 years old and older), who desire to live a more fulfilled and meaningful life free of substances. The substance counseling offers a combined treatment approach offering addiction psycho-education courses, addiction counseling for clients and their supportive families; utilizing an effective evidence-based approach of education and skills such as DBT/CBT and Experiential Addiction therapy both individual and in groups.

The substance counseling is an outpatient program guided by a specialized licensed clinical addiction specialist and/or a certified addiction counselor.  The substance counselor will do an intake process in order to individually assess and determine eligibility for services in an outpatient setting.
